Ribery Joins Newly Promoted Serie A Side

Former France international Franck Ribery has inked a one-year contract with newly promoted Serie A club Salernitana. The 38-year-old winger was a free agent after departing Fiorentina at the end of last season.

Ribery has extended his stay in Italian football for a third season, having previously played for Fiorentina and now Salernitana. He will link up with manager Davide Nicolas and his backroom staff at the Stadio Arechi.

Ribery expressed his delight at the move, stating, "I stayed in Salerno because I am very happy here and get along well." The veteran winger boasts an impressive resume that includes the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich and the Ligue 1 triumph with Marseille.
